PRAYER

Jesus prayed...a lot. In the Gospels, we see over and over Jesus praying for those around Him as well as for Himself. He taught the desciples to pray and He let them see Him praying often.  He set aside time in solitude simply to pray.  And He prayed openly with and for others in public.

Prayer is a mark of a believer in Jesus. A lifestyle of prayer acknowledges our complete dependence on Him. When the world sees a believer or a group of believers praying, they see a glimpse of Jesus and the Gospel at work.

Although prayer begins in the heart of an individual, we pray together just as the early Church did.  We pray during our Sunday Worship.  We offer times of prayer before and after worship as well.  A more intimate prayer time is encouraged in the homes of our Community Groups.

We also get together on the 3rd Sunday of each month at Mystery Church to pray together for our church and city. We hope that you will consider joining us at 7:00PM. Check the Events Calendar for more details.
