I married my beautiful wife Lacey in 2000.  We have two boys, Jaden and Gavin. We are also foster parents to a wonderful little girl whom we will soon adopt.

I came to Mystery in June 2008.

Community Group Leader, Website Management

WHAT IS CHALLENGING/GOOD TO YOU ABOUT SERVING THE CHURCH AND YOUR COMMUNITY?

I enjoy sharing life with others.  I appreciate both the ups and downs of my life that I can share with others as well as standing alongside others as they go thru ups and downs. As much as I enjoy sharing life with others, its also the most challenging part to me because many times it means I have to give up my own comforts to serve, pray for, listen to, and love others.

WHAT IS YOUR PRAYER/HOPE FOR JOPLIN?

My prayer is that the Church in Joplin would love Jesus, serve and give faithfully, and be engaged daily in the community so that others would see the Gospel thru us.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

I enjoy reading and sci-fi movies (especially comic book flicks).

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD?

Thai Food has recently worked its way to the top of my list, particulary Pineapple Fried Rice at my favorite Thai restraunt in Joplin called Kinnaree.  Of course, a large wood-fire grilled Ribeye with a little A1 steak sauce and some thick cut steak fries is my all time fav.

FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT?

A white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM ORIGINALLY?

SE Kansas.  Moved to Joplin with my family in 1995. Graduated from Carl Junction H.S. in 1998.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?

I am a disability and retirement claims representative for the Social Security Administration.
